Chip Nemec founded Nemec Construction in 1998 after obtaining his General Contractor's license. Growing up in Nebraska, immersed in the construction business through his father's work as an Electrical Contractor, Chip brings a rich background of firsthand experience and expertise to the company.

"Hello! My name is Chip Nemec, the founder of Nemec Construction. Growing up in Omaha, Nebraska with three siblings,
I was immersed in the world of construction from an early age.
My dad owned his own company Nemec Electric and that’s where I learned the values of hard work and loyalty. I accompanied him on jobs, absorbing knowledge and asking questions.

Working alongside my dad, I became interested in becoming a General Contractor. He instilled in me the importance of integrity, honesty, hard work, and passion. Together, we built many things, and I cherished every moment.
While I knew my passion lay in building homes and remodels, I decided to pursue higher education first. I attended Iowa State University, where I earned my degree in Occupational Safety and Industrial Hygiene.
Obtaining my contractor's license over 25 years ago marked the beginning of an enriching journey. I've been involved in various projects, including subdivisions, new home construction, whole house remodels, and commercial build-outs. What I love most is the satisfaction of delivering detailed results that make my customers happy.

Outside of work, I am happily married and enjoy exploring the world through travel. Experiencing different cultures and architectural wonders abroad continues to inspire me in my professional endeavors."

Our founder, Chip Nemec, brings over 25 years of invaluable experience to the table, specializing in planning, building, and bringing clients' visions to fruition. With a lifetime dedicated to the construction industry, Chip's journey began with his upbringing and continued through his education at Iowa State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Safety and Industrial Hygiene.

Chip says, "After moving to Florida in 1996 I got my Building Contractor license in 1998. At that point I started building new homes all around Sarasota and Bradenton. To date, we have completed more than 400 homes.”
